Air Force Air Show

E-mail

Amongst the many other activities that Amber and I have done this year so far (I've been absolutely horrible at blogging them), we decided that we would check out the air show that was being put on by the Air Force in celebration of Air Force week.  It was held this last Saturday (June 6th) up at Hill AFB.  We got to see some amazing planes on display and even more amazing planes do some demonstrations in the sky.   I highly recommend an air show put on by the military because they have some pretty amazing planes.

Congratulate Catherine if you haven’t already for graduating. She graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelors degree in Theater Studies on May 2, 2008. The end of the tunnel finally came. Way to go Catherine! I’m very proud of your accomplishment.

Dirt Biking up Hobble Creek

E-mail

This trip all began when Cory invited my to head up Hobble Creek and do some dirt biking with him and some of his buddies. How could I say no? I’m looking for every opportunity I could to get my newly acquired dirt bike out so of course I said hell yeah. Anyway, the plan was to meet at 8:30 in Springville at Cory’s friend’s house. Once we got there and everyone was unloaded and ready to go, we headed out and started to ride for the canyon. The thing that worried me about this was that my bike is only registered for off-road only.

Bored at the laundromat

E-mail

Here I am sitting at the laundromat bored as can be. Before living where we do now, I’ve never had the need to go to a laundromat before. Now that I do, I realize that I’m not missing out on anything. I do usually enjoy some good people watching but unfortunately the people here just aren’t interesting to watch. I guess atleast there aren’t brats running around like last time.

Drive-in season is back!!

E-mail

As some may know, Catherine, Brian and myself have kind of made it a tradition to head to the Redwood Road drive-in every Sunday once it’s warm enough. Today kicked off the first time for this season. To make it more fun, we usually don’t decide what we are seeing until we get there.  Nice thing is you get 2 movies for the price of one.  Good times.
